Yep, they sure are!  You can get them at about any pond supply store and I think Home Depot and Lowes carry them seasonally.

I am glad to see that you are taking positive action instead of sitting back and complaining.  It will be very interesting to see what the city can/will do for the homeowners of Pecan Grove.

Go Fight WIN!!!!!!!!!!!

We had an impromptu 'emergency meeting at the pool parking lot organized by one of the residents.  Damn near looked like we had 100% participation.

Great!  I hope your turnout tonight is just as successful.

OK! I just got home from Brookshires and saw Clear Reflections locking up at the pool. I stopped and talked about the situation with their rep. He has shocked the pool to the point that it should be clear again by tomorrow. Either he or his boss will be out tomorrow to follow up and add more chemicals if needed. The shock will kill any current mosquito larvae and repel future mosquitoes.

I asked if they would now be servicing the pool on a more "regular basis", and he answered, "Well, that is up to the developer. It takes money."

With this taken care of, is there anything that we should still be informing the City Council of tonight?

Lodestar management has been a thorn in almost every HOA that has used them..  Is anyone still left with them that is having a good experience?

I was there,  just decided not to bust out the wagon.   BTW,  I did find this forum from a link at the city website.

I would figure the city would want to denounce it's existence at this point..   :P

I'll let you know what I hear, but last time --- they put a flyer on our doors around 5pm to say it was at 8pm. So there might not be a whole lot of notice.

The plan was to meet tonight at 8pm at the pool parking lot.   Not sure if it's changed or not.

That sir, is because our City Council rocks harder.

Thank you!
