You may have unearthed a fossil.

They have no moving parts. Fossils (from Latin fossus, literally "having been dug up") are the preserved remains or traces of animals, plants, and other organisms from the remote past.

THANKFULLY there are THOSE OF US (we'll not name names) who are EFFUSIVE AND MAGNANIMOUS both.  What a wonderful world it really is!

UPDATE:

Drama is a choice.  No matter what transpires around me, I will not let it affect me.  I do not speak ill of said individual, and I don't let anything anyone has said even register.  In fact, the entire thing amuses me so much, that I give a brighter smile, and wave even more emphatically at them these days.
