Pecan Grove and our woes have made the front page of the Anna News in the Friday, July 25th edition.  In an article entitled Health Officials Close Pecan Grove Pool By Staff Reports writes, "Frustrated homeowners from the Anna subdivision of Pecan Grove filled several rows of seats at city hall Tuesday evening, seeking help from city leaders regarding the lack of action by their Homeowners Association Property Management Company." The story continues across the front page complete with a picture of the county's lock on our pool's gate.

You know what kills me about this whole pool thing, it isnt as expensive as one thinks to fix this problem and maintain a pool. I had trouble with ours, mostly at the hand of Leslies Pool folks until I found an online DIY network. Needless to say I learned a ton and saved a ton and half in funds. So Anyway the short easy version, those store bought chemicals/pool guys do just enough to take you two steps forward only to throw you one back; just enough to keep you spending. I imagine a couple of residents could jump that fence and clear that pool in no time, not to mention spend very little in time or money to maintain it **properly**when the pool guy isnt looking...all without stepping foot in a pool store by the way. I feel for you...shouldnt have to pay HOA dues and not get your amenities!!!

I agree, why don't creekside have a pool!!!! We need a pool! not for me, but i dont want the pool thief to get thrown in the Anna slammer.

Wow...I hesitate to ask, but will anyway, what are yall's dues? And if you only have the pool, what else do you get? Landscaping? Regulation of residents I am sure...but what else.

Again it steams me to hear that you guys dont have that amenity when it is 101 outside and you PAY for it!!! Man HOA gets me mad and I dont even have one here.
