Reserving Pavillion
« on: September 08, 2011, 09:04:22 PM »
We are wanting to have the daughter's bday party at Slayter Creek, and I have researched and know all the rules/policies/procedures.  But my question is how does reserving it keep others from using it? I know they can't afford to hire bouncers for $10/hr fee.  And is it even worth reserving for a party w/ only about 15 kiddos + parents?  I can see why if you're having a family reunion w/ 100+ guests.  So would it be ok to just 'show up', especially if we're not going to be using the whole pavillion?

Reserve it, show up, if others bother you call the non emergency police number.  Enjoy!

( Spend the bouncer $ on better presents for the kiddos)

If someone else reserves it for that day, they might not be willing to share it they have 100 guests.  You can take your chance of no one else reserving it but if they do you have no right to use the pavillion.  You could always just bring blankets just in case or I do believe there are other picnic tables along the trail.  I would have a hard time reserving for a small group but if you want the pavillion for sure I would reserve it.
