Lately all I've been playing is this game where I take pieces of wood and reduce the total volume of the wood (either a lot or a little at time) using something sharp (and usually loud.)
Once I've reduced a particular number of pieces of wood in particular ways, I'll then reattach them with glue and mechanical fastening devices - in a particular way.
I get quite a bit of satisfaction playing this game, and it has thus far resulted in earning me pieces of furniture as a reward. I will warn you though, it takes a fair bit of specialized equipment to play.
I play a similar game called,
My Life! Its a race against the clock game! Remember that Electronics Arts game,
The Sims? Its almost *exactly* like that, but you Live-Action Role Play it! First, you set a starting point, then BAM! When the "alarm" goes off, you have about 18-hours to accomplish a whole host of tasks before...tick, tock - TIME'S UP! And just like the video game, you have to make sure your character eats & poops before its too late or embarrassing things (and sometimes hilarity) ensues. It way too complex to get into now, and its mostly fun, but you have to have a real fortitude to play it. Winning is pretty easy though, cause most everyone else sucks really bad at it - which can be really funny!
