I LOVE www.thinkgeek.com!!!! I got my DH a doormat for his new office that reads "Welcome" in binary! Heehee.

Kris has one which reads, "Welcome 127.0.0.1"

There's no place like 127.0.0.1!

I may need to come to your 127.0.0.1 to get a bit more edumacation.....

I've gotten some really cool stuff from ThinkGeek.

TheWife mentioned the /dev/blanket and the binary clock, but I've also got an 'RTFM' coffee mug, bumper stickers that proclaim 'hax0r' and a shirt that says 'Go away or I will replace you with a very small shell script.'

I have that mug!  My boss asked me what it meant.  I told him "Raspberry Truffles For Mom".

I also have the WTF and STFU.  hehe.

Huh.  I didn't get it until the end.  Very funny.

I thought it was a Class-A subnet mask on a very restrictive set of routes.

Same here, except missing a byte.  Oh, and it's not very restrictive for a subnet mask, since there would be 16.7 million hosts on that network...

I fumbled that.  Its true a Class-A subnet mask would be wide open.  (Missing the last octet as you pointed out).

Ok. After reading some of these last comments: I didn't get the geek cred back.
I'm still just a translator.

well if being a geek OR a translator means you understand why the cat food commercial just came into play, I am neither :)
