No. Unfortunately all the crud is still there. I just couldn't get notes to run. Period.

Some big red box showed up with an error message. So I played around. And it worked.

Better than calling the no-help-whatsoever desk.

I remember fondly the times I called them told them exactly what was wrong and how to fix it... I of course did not have access....

I want to say (And this is a vague recollection) that your admins need to pull you a new.id file from the vault.  I have no doubt I would be wrong though.

or get the zap utility running so you get a console then type:
-dump
-kill
