Sadness...
« on: October 01, 2007, 07:51:26 PM »
My router, which I've had for about 2 years, has officially died.  I will mourn for all of, oh, 2 minutes.

Any suggestions for a new one?

Netgear.  Fantastic consumer-level stuff.

They are in direct competition with Black and Decker and Craftsman.

I recommend something that will run OpenWRT, see this list.  But that's because I'm a geek and try to make computers do things they weren't designed for.

I'll take a look at what you sent. But I'm not that much of a geek. Anymore. I've been out of IT too long and am slowly losing my Geek credentials.
I know Mac has the wireless router that is running 802.11n.  But I don't know if I would be able to run my PC on it.  I'm also thinking of taking the G4 I have collecting dust and doing something with it. Don't know what yet.

If its an 867MHz or higher, it'll run Leopard October 26th.
