Fencing Company
« on: September 07, 2011, 10:15:18 AM »
I have tried 4 different Fencing companies.  None of them show up.  Not a single estimate.

I leave voice mails for others, none of them call back.

Does anyone have a fencing company that will actually come here and replace my fence?

I thought this only happened to me. Had a guy come out, took measurements, said he'd have a quote to me by Saturday, it's now been about 2 months and never heard from him.

Some folks just don't know how to run a business.

At least you had him show up.  He probably measured the fence, then tried to dig a test hole.  The act of digging in this earth would be enough to convince me it wasnt worth it.  Actually, this is my main motivator for hiring someone to do all the work.

I even had a sprinkler service come out and give an estimate.  They did so, and said they would have their fencing company come out as well.  Still waiting.

That's really odd - you'd think that someone would capitalize on the business that's thrown away by these contractors who can't be assed to show up.

I had a friend who needed some work done on his roof.  Someone finally showed up and gave him a quote on the 10th appointment with 9 different companies.

If they don't want to do the work, why not just say that up front?  "Hey, we found that doing fencing in Anna isn't really worth the effort." or something - why set appointments and then no-show?

I have used http://www.dfwfancyfence.com/ at our old house in McKinney and they did a fantastic job after the Tornado of 2009. Great price and good service. You may want to give Mike Camfield a shout - he is the owner.
