It's that time of year again....

.... to start thinking about & doing your SPRING CLEANING!!! So, you know where I'm going....THE FALLS  3rd ANNUAL COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE... Don't throw out your "trash" unwanted, unused can't fit into items. Put them aside & add to it daily, weekly, monthly. Everytime you find something put it in your GARAGE SALE PILE!!! Someone elses' "treasure" puts green in your pocket & you have an uncluttered house!!!
I'm open to suggestions for promoting our sale, any & all help would be appreciated. ;)
I will start in March with the flyers for a reminder & for those that are not the forum. Please get the word out it's the 1st weekend in April. That has seemed to work pretty good, it's the beginning of SPRING & everyone is look'n for someting NEW!!!---Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday &  HOW ABOUT THOSE JETS---Sassynthrifty1

you guys are alot bigger then Westfield, i would see which realtor has the most signs up in your subdivision on homes for sale, i would call them and see if they would sponser your sale, i have seen them put balloons on mail boxes of people having sales,signs up at the entrance and give out donuts, i believe remax did that at a sale in mckinney i went to last summer, its worth a try....

Just thinking.... since the falls is across from the hollow, should we consider having our own sale too? Why not have all neighborhoods do it on the same weekend? Make it a big 'ol Anna event? Am I nuts? OK, rhetorical question.

I like that idea, but what would even be better for us buyers would be an all Anna yard sale day.

 ;D I have commented to the Town of Anna about having a "TOWN WIDE SALE" but, never got a reply. What's up with that?! If you can get your community to join in the sale then go for it!

back in St.Louis we had towns do this, was crazy tho...traffic jams on small streets,and you try and hit all the sales, ya cant do it....one other thing we did in st.louis when there was a 'city wide sale' was do a preview sale on friday night..that helped it lightend the load of bargin hunters on saturday morning...would open the sale from like 4 till dark....and geez grill hot dogs and sell them a buck each lots of people did that....to catch those folks comin straight from work, good luck y'all

 ::)We had that also it was called "The Worlds Biggest Garage Sale" held in Warrensburg Ny. People would come from all over just for that weekend. The schools even closed that Friday due to the traffic. But, it was a small price to pay for the amount of moolay it brought to the community!!!

SATURDAY APRIL 2nd is your lucky day to rid your house of all that unwanted clutter!!!
Sorry for the late reply Dave :o short term mermory- umm.(LOL) Well, needless to say I haven't been around with any flyers to remind all of my WONDERFUL neighbors of this sale. So, I hope you will all see the sign ( it's not out yet I drive a hybrid & it won't fit in my car so I have to walk with my lil wagon. No giggling) out at the front entrance for all to see. Please spread the word to all since I haven't out. Spring break is a good time as any to start clearing out your clutter-remember APRIL 2nd is the day!!!
