Um, no, I don't want to access it through the pool, I want to just move that fence in and put the newly unfenced grassy space to good use.  Then we wouldn't have to build anything up closer to the creek.

If we are accessing it through the pool then I have to worry about my kids falling in the water.  If I wanted to deal with that headache I would have a pool in my own backyard and say to hell with the community pool.

Dude!  You sail?  I LOVE sailing.  Still listen to the Christopher Cross song with longing in my heart.   :'(

I aggree with you that access through the pool is a bad idea, besides it would be locked in the winter.
Moving the fence would be very difficult, and I think would destroy it in the process. We will be using the grassy area behind the pool for more activities. I think you will see it used during the Falls festival. Next year we hope to have more activities for the tweens and teens. It will make a greata area to set up a movie watching party.
MOM, are you on any committees?

Ok, so, you all know I don't get on here to much so I missed this comment way back when...

That part I highlighted nearly made me pee my pants!  He knows who I am now, I bet he wishes I wasn't so involved.  When his cell rings I know he is thinking "Oh God, it's her again!"  That darn Crime Watch McGruff Lady!!!  ;D
