Swimming Pool
« on: May 21, 2008, 11:16:39 AM »
Anyone know what is going on with the pool?  I saw a note on it from the county saying fees hadn't been paid & something else that I don't recall & that they are to call ASAP... ??????

It's been taken care of.  I don't know all the details but there was a paperwork error I think somewhere with the permits or something and that is what that was all about.

BUT, we have spent ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS already this year repairing pool vandalism and it's not even open yet.

Keep your eyes open for people doing things they shouldn't.  Call 911 if you see a problem.

The repairs should be made and the pool ready to open this weekend.

This is as much as I know:

It is being taken care of, and the pool will be open on Saturday.

One of the violations was that kids had vandalized the 911 phone, and it cost like $500 to fix it.   >:(

Unrelated but you might be able to use it to your advantage.  Anna has a curfew.  I believe it is 11:00pm for 16 and under.  If kids are out there late then call the PD and report it as a curfew violation - might get more attention that way.

I hate it that people let their teens run wild and do this sort of thing.  I hate it for the property owners, but I hate it for other teens too.  Not all teens are crappy like that!

Kids that tear up stuff like this (if we know it was kids) were likely not taught to respect other people & other peoples property!  That is where it starts usually, bad/no parenting...

Maybe if we weren't spending so much on vandalism...

We have a park, but no pool.  The kids just tear up the park.  Darn Kids (oh wait, I blame the parents!)

What was done?  That going to increase our HOA fee?

I say we raise everyone's fee's 100$ and get armed snipers on the roof tops!!  Give them dart guns and have the police sort out the misfits in the AM...

BTW, if you interested in being informed on everything Falls HOA go to http://groups.google.com/group/the-falls-hoa?hl=en if your not on there already!

No, the homeowners rates will not go up.  We (you, me, your neighbor, your neighbors neighbor) have already sunk over $1000 fixing "Stuff" that kids have destroyed!

Please question/call the police if necessary, if anyone appears to be trashing OUR neighborhood!

See you @ the pool
