The FAlls Pool---Crack pipe found
« on: June 04, 2011, 02:07:01 PM »
FYI--- what appears to have been a home made crack pipe was found this afternoon at our community pool. The Anna police have been notified of the finding. I just wanted to let everyone  in the Falls to be aware what was found. Thanks Sassy

Sad! Just the story I needed today. Seriously considered slapping a for sale sign in the yard after my trip to the pool store. Think I'll just keep dumping liquid cash in the hole in my backyard.

Seriously - who says 'hey, wanna go down to the pool and smoke some crack?'

Wife nagged me that she wanted a pool. I successfully fought her off, using logical arguments!

Of course, now I owe her new wood floors, new screened in porch, new deck, spa, another dog. If she asks me for a cat, that's where I draw the line!

no wonder all the teenagers from the falls keep over-running the OH pool. They are dealing with crack heads over there.

So far the OH pool has been pleaseant...well minus the mobs of cool teensagers cussing in front of the 3 yr olds (to impressive them i imagine) and then throwing footballs (banned but no one reads anymore) at the toddlers faces.

Thank you Anna Police for stepping up the patrols around our community pool. Please if anyone sees or hears any unwanted/suspicious activity at the pool report it to the police. Thanks-Sassy

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately I am not surprised. Similar incidents have always plagued the pool here.

In past years we have opted to join the Lifetime Fitness pool in Allen during the summer months, but this year we are going to try this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Intex-18-x-48-Easy-Set-Above-Ground-Pool/15522802

For $300 it is worth it to try for a summer and less expensive than Lifetime Fitness.

The Anna Police dept. has a good display of different types of materials used for pipes. The one that was found was made from a bic pen.

If this happens again, I will be advocating shutting the thing down and filling it in.  Our HOA dues pay for this but I would not allow my kids near the place for this very reason.  What an epic waste of money since no one knows how to behave.
