Watering hybernating bermuda
« on: December 28, 2008, 02:46:14 PM »
I've got a gardening question.  How much should I water my hybernating bermuda?  I see the HOA is watering the grass by the pool regularly.  I'm hoping someone here can help.  If not, I guess I'll have to ask the HOA gardener.  Thanks!

Well, I don't water my lawn at all over the winter. I'll start watering it again around March / April after giving it a good raking and spreading some pre-emergent.

Seems to work fine for me.

Chem Lawn told us once or twice a week for 5 minutes per station.  This is more for your foundation in my opinion, but if you are seeing cracks in your lawn you are going to have some issues if you don't get it fixed pretty quick.

I believe it is being kept good & watered hoping the run off will keep the pond full.

I can always count on CAB to provide a good answer.  Thanks man.  That makes a lot of sense.

I had to go have the whole toe nail removed yesterday.  I think I may be in even more pain now, but I am not letting up on the pain pills to find out...
