I know it was a short notice that was sent out, but those that have concerns should have tried to arrange their schedule to attend, I did and just 3 other home owners..along with Essex management and Joe Oblias. There really was not alot to discuss, I feel that Essex really has stepped up to the plate and take care of our issues that were in the past, the lots being mowed was the biggest issue...that is since solved, trash is no longer an issue...lighting at the front is better maintained....

At the questions point the only maters that were brought up was the very back corner lot that looks as tho its washing away..and the dreaded pool idea...Joe assured us that we would have a vote for the pool..and he would not be any part of the voting, those that did attend lastnight were not interested in the pool...Essex said also the hoa fee's would double if there was a pool installed, one resident voiced that they cant afford the hoa fee's now and that would be an added burden. The only way the funds would happen for a pool is texdot purchase our front end and we lose our beautiful westfield signs, seems tho they want to make turn lanes into that area..that being one way or Hoa lending the funds to build the pool...neither sounded benficial to me. Joe also stated that he is losing money here more then one way....one thru the loss of sales of homes, and second being theft..he is going to upgrade the camera's in hopes to catch the thiefs, i suggested to get our neighbor hood watch program going....I believe that the crime in our neighbor is controlable as long as everyone works together....know your neighbors!

I'am sorry we didn't get the fall chili cook off in....I did not plan the christmas decorating contest this year...just 7 homes lastyear participated in the event....I did ask if there is a budget for the block party 2012 and Ron said yes there would be, he is allowing 200.00.

So over all it was a great meeting, short and sweet....only 4 home owners OWES back HOA fee's I believe total amount in rearers is around 4000.00...Ron expressed he was happy that that number was low...I just hope that Essex,Ron,Eydie,Dawn and Joe all keep up the great work they have been doing...we have come a long ways the last 2 years as far as our subdivision looking better.
